Last updated: August 19, 2026

Sortd allows users to request deletion of their account and associated personal information.

Requesting Account Deletion

To request deletion of your Sortd account, email with the subject line: Sortd Data Deletion Request. hello@trysortd.com

Please send the request from the email address associated with your Sortd account whenever possible.

We may need to verify your identity before processing the request.

What We Delete

Following a verified deletion request, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account where reasonably possible, subject to information we are legally or operationally required to retain.

This may include:

  • Account information
  • Profile information
  • Workspace information associated solely with the deleted account
  • Stored authentication information
  • Other personal information associated with your use of Sortd

If your account belongs to an organization with multiple users, certain business records may remain within that organization's workspace where the organization has an independent right or obligation to retain them.

Meta / Facebook Data Deletion

If you connected Sortd to Facebook or Meta services and want information obtained through that connection deleted, email with the subject line: Meta Data Deletion Request. hello@trysortd.com

Please include the email address associated with your Sortd account and enough information for us to identify the relevant connection.

Where appropriate, you may also disconnect Sortd from your Meta account through the relevant Meta account or business settings.

After receiving and verifying your request, we will delete or anonymize applicable information obtained through the Meta integration, subject to legal or security-related retention requirements.

Lead Data

Businesses using Sortd may store information about their own customers and leads.

If you are a lead or customer whose information has been stored in Sortd by one of our customers, you should normally contact that business directly regarding access, correction, or deletion of your information.

Sortd processes such information on behalf of the business using the platform. Where appropriate, we will assist our customers in responding to valid data requests.

Retention Exceptions

Certain limited information may be retained when reasonably necessary for:

  • Legal compliance
  • Fraud prevention
  • Security
  • Resolving disputes
  • Financial or accounting obligations
  • Enforcing contractual rights

Information retained for these purposes will not be used for unrelated purposes.
